Programming FAQs

  • What is the age range for offered programming?

Programming is offered for kids ages 3-14

  • What is the difference between the programming?

    Lil Chippers

    • This is our 3-6 years old class. We divide them into two groups: 3 and 4 years old, and 5 and 6 years old.
    • Lil Chippers focuses on having fun and playing golf games to create a love of the game and introduce the fundamentals and age-appropriate etiquette to our juniors.

    Gamers/Homeschool

    • We will start with three general age divisions: 7-9, 10-12, and 13-14. There will be two defined skill levels within each age group; a beginner group and a more advanced group.
    • These groups will learn the fundamentals and practice them often. They will also start to learn variations in their shots and how to decide which clubs to use and why given a certain situation.

    Tournament Gamers

    • This is our class for golfers aged 10-14 who are currently involved in competitive tournament play.
    • Tournament Gamers will get details about scoring and how to compete in events. Your junior will need to qualify for this group through their past tournament scores.

    PGA Jr. League

    • PGA Jr. League is for golfers who have little competitive experience, and want to get into playing events. This is a great way for juniors to play and compete with their peers in a low-pressure, fun environment.
  • Do I need to be an NTPGA Junior Tour member to participate in programming?

No! Our programs are open to the general public. Sign up for future programming here.

  • Is there a limit to the number of programming my child can participate in?

No! Please feel free to sign up for as many classes as you want.

    Junior Programming

  • What should students bring to programming?

Students should bring golf clubs (if they have them), hat, water, sunscreen, and a ready to learn attitude!

  • What happens to programming if it rains or is extreme cold/heat?

We have the ability to go indoors at our on-site pavilion to continue instruction.

  • What happens if a camp/class is full?

Once a program is full, all players that then register will be placed on a waiting list. Players on the waiting list will be placed into the event on a first-come, first-served basis according to space availability in their group.

    • NOTE: Players will be notified via email if they have been placed into programming for the day. A player may cancel themselves from the waiting list at any time.
    • NOTE: There is no on-site waiting list/walk-up registration
  • What happens if a class is canceled?

    The class will be rescheduled.

  • What is the camp/programming no show policy?

If a class is missed, you will automatically lose that class. Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis.
